Carl Kaster is the owner and operator of Aligned Group. Carl realized his love for working with his hands at a very young age, and has since gained a variety of invaluable real-life experiences, which have led him to creating a custom woodworking and design company. For the past 20+ years, Carl has worked in many different arenas of the construction and woodworking field, including on gym floors at University of Louisville as well as other colleges and high schools around the state, starting his own hardwood flooring and construction businesses, and managing residential and commercial renovation jobs of various types and sizes. 

In the past decade, Carl realized his passion to become a custom woodworker  and loves to be able to build at the junction of beauty and functionality, where he uses clean lines to create pieces he is proud of. Through all of his experience, Carl has curated a team that is reliable and consistent, and is dedicated to exceeding personal and customer expectations of each and every job.
